Awesome spot for delicious craft sandwiches, especially if you’ve grown tired of the same boring old corporate chains. I loved the personal touch and pride that the chef put into ensuring we had a great meal. The vegan chili was exceptional and I really liked the grilled cheese. Hope I can visit again one day.
Grumpy’s had an excellent vegan selection—BLT, chili dog, sweet potato burger, cheese, macaroni Salad, Jack fruit chicken. I ordered the chili dog—it was delicious! I loved the sauerkraut. The service was friendly and prompt. We even got a complimentary cookie for visiting for the first time. I thought the choices (both vegan and non-vegan) were a bit pricey, which is why I didn’t give the restaurant five stars.

It's hard to find a restaurant that offers good vegan, and this one does. We enjoyed the food, but the wait staff hovered too much for me to relax and enjoy my meal. It was closing time but we were motivated to get back on the road home after being away for days. Other tables were occupied when we left. $40 including tip for 2 mini garbage salads and 1 potato salad.
Vegan brownie was super yummy for sure. This place closes early so I dont have the option to come here ever. I got out of class early and got to try it out. It's nice. Wish the hours were extended a bit. Or added on saturdays!
Wow. This place is awesome. Super fast and delicious! I ordered the kitchen sink... one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!
Excellent vegan options. The sweet potato burger (pictured) was terrific and unique. Serving it with kale chips was great. The chalk boards to your left when you enter have even more vegan options and there are great vegan desserts too. Service is great as well.
First time visit for us, went during lunch on a Friday. Got a perfect parking spot and was sat right away! While I only grabbed a picture of our Mac and cheese (so comforting and delicious) but our entire lunch was scrumptious! A little pricey for what we got - (cheeseburger and Mac and chicken sandwich Mac and two drinks), but would definitely like to try a few more items on the menu.
Grumpy's is an absolutely wonderful place to enjoy great food, an anything but grumpy staff, and a welcoming setting. My husband and I got to know and love Vanessa on frequent Friday lunch visits. She is incredibly generous with her time, her warm spirit, and her sincere care for restaurant guests. We are truly grateful to her for her deep kindness.
I got the southwest garbage salad and mac and cheese and it was soooo good! Friendly staff and a very clean and cute atmosphere!
